Nein, Herr Weidner, das können Sie wirklich besser. Von " Kafkas Träume " ist auf "Memento" kaum etwas übrig.
Nicht einmal davor, die Grauzone zu bedienen, schreckt Weidner als Onkel zurück: " Wir haben den Teufel reingelassen, nun sollen wir lieben was wir hassen " — so manch ein bei Jennifer Rostock in Ungnade gefallener besorgter Bürger steht sicher schon Schlange, das falsch zu verstehen.
Denn rein songschreiberisch kann man den Böhsen Onkelz im Genrekontext kaum Vorwürfe machen. Dank sei hier auch der Produktion, die schon mit der ersten Fäustewand in " Gott Hat Ein Problem " klar macht, dass hier nichts Halbgares im Kochtopf schmort.
Nur Gonzo hat das Knöpfchendrehen offenbar nicht so raus. Mal scheint er sich betont zurückhalten zu wollen und agiert zu spartanisch. Im zweiten Teil des Soloausflugs fällt ihm dann plötzlich ein, dass er das eigentlich doch lieber anders gemacht hätte, möchte es wieder wettmachen und verliert sich in Gefrickel.
Die goldene Mitte trifft er selten. Kackt dafür im Refrain ziemlich ab. Selbst die Band selbst scheint von ihrem Zeitlupentempo gelangweilt, wie die Vocalperformance nahelegt.
Hier nämlich gelingt der Versuch. Kein platter Text, keine Langeweile, dafür spannendes Songwriting, das erneut vor allem vom Zusammenspiel zwischen Gitarre und Bass lebt, was ja bereits bei " Der Junge Mit Dem Schwefelholz " wunderbar funktionierte.
Im Grunde schenkt "Memento" uns also genau das, was wir hören bzw. Diese wiederum können sich bestätigt fühlen und ihrerseits die Kehrseite zum Vorbeigehen bereithalten.
Je nachdem also: k ein Grund zur Freude, die Onkelz sind zurück. Das hätten die Böhsen Onkelz wohl gern. Tatsache ist, dass viele hierzulande ….
Deutschland kotzt und uns gefällts. Skywise, du wirst gebraucht werden! Ich hasse die Onkelz abgrundtief wegen ihrer dümmlichen Opfer-der-Medien-Masche.
Auch die ganze Nazi-Diskussion hat ihnen doch unendlich viel geholfen. Aber nein, sie betonen ja immer wieder, wie sie sich hochgekämpft gegen alle Widerstände, obwohl genau diese Widerstände ihnen doch erst ihre Underdog-Position verschafft.
Unglaublich anstrengend. Dieser Kommentar wurde vor 4 Jahren durch den Autor entfernt. Also reicht es wohl einfach die Medien zu ignorieren und Handwerklich einfach ganz gross da gibt's hierzulande nichts aber auch gar nichts das da mithalten kann.
Nicht ohne Grund das die Onkelz mittlerweile so unverschämt erfolgreich sind. Macht halt spass. Man kann auf diese Band gar nix kommen lassen sind seit 89' einfach eine Bereicherung.
