Aug 22, With nods to Sinister and real life topics such as the Manson family murders, Last Shift is smarter than it realises it is and Arrow alumni, the beautiful Juliana Harkavy gives a standout and surprisingly good role as the wide-eyed protagonist teasing potential as a future "scream queen" with The Walking Dead and Alex Merkin's House of Bodies already tucked firmly under her belt.

The villain, the "King of Hell" is terrifying throughout and definitely worth revising for a sequel. The only con to the film was that it often didn't feel original enough in places which was a big shame because it felt that Last Shift had even more potential than what was met.
