The movie ends with Otis being carted into the emergency room of the hospital, and being followed by the Indian shopkeeper while Miles watches it all, caressing the Wendigo figurine.
Despite its title, the film does not bear much resemblance to the legend whatsoever. It was re-released by Cinema Club on Jun 16, Wendigo was met with mixed reviews by critics.
